Many relationships breakdown’s through lack of communication, diminishing trust in one another, unresolved past traumas arising within the relationship, incompatibility in intimacy, lack of emotional support, differing life goals, daily stress, codependency and problems resolving conflicts.

I offer relationship therapy in Chiang Mai, Thailand and also online. The focus of my sessions is to restore the flow of love and understanding in your relationship through resolving the past and healing your relationship with yourself and your partner.

The relationship coaching process

My relationship therapy process begins with a joint couples coaching session.

In this session, we begin with focusing on the sources of connection and the sources of disconnection in your relationship.

When do you feel the most connected to your partner? When do you feel disconnected from them?

What are the problems which repeat in your relationship? What strategies can be put into place to manage them?

Where do you communicate successfully and what communication skills need to be learned?

Have you noticed difficult emotions that arise in your relationship that may relate to unresolved trauma and your personal past?

In your relationship, do you feel rejected or do you have the sense that your partner desires you to be someone that you are not?

Creating conscious connection in relationship

From there, we focus on exploring what you would like to experience in your relationship, and learning how to restore the flow of love and understanding within it.

Most people want to loved and accepted exactly as they are, and it is usual for patterns of lack of self worth and not feeling good enough to arise within intimate relationships.

The reason for this is that the purpose of relationship is healing, and every moment of feeling is an opportunity for healing.

I will teach you how to give yourself and your partner the support that you need in order to rebuild the foundation of relationship itself - trust.

Relationship and emotion

In the couples therapy session, particular emphasis is placed on exploring the emotions that arise within your relationship.

Relationship is mathematical, and in order to build a positive relationship with your partner it is important to know how can consciously create positive feelings in yourself and another.

It is also useful to understand exactly what situations, places, people and behaviours trigger negative negative feelings in yourself or your partner; and to learn conscious strategies to mitigate them.

Relationship can be defined as how we relate over the movement of time, and relating is something which you can learn because solid relationships enjoy positive feelings with one another that build compounding trust over time.

The art of inner relationship

Life is relationship and relationship relates to how we relate over time.

The art of inner relationship focuses on redefining how you experience your world, your emotion and your relationship internally.

Healing is a change of perspective. When your thoughts and feelings around your relationship change in the world inside of you, then you will experience these changes quickly reflect into your romantic relationships.

For this important inner work to occur, we continue the relationship therapy process with individual therapy sessions.

The role of individual sessions in the relationship therapy process

The next step in the relationship therapy process is one-on-one therapy sessions.

These sessions integrate counselling and hypnotherapy to help each partner to heal the negative feelings that arise within your relationship, many of which are related to unresolved family imprints and trauma from the past.

You will each learn how to improve your relationship with your partner through strengthening your relationship to yourself.

This may include learning:

- How to create conscious boundaries

- How to communicate effectively

- How to resolve conflict

- How to feel safe in the presence of your partner’s emotion

- How to set manageable and achievable life goals for yourself as an individual

In these private therapy sessions, you will learn how to view every challenge that arises within your romantic relationship as an opportunity to learn, grow and practice the art of love.

Ongoing therapy and relationship coaching

The relationship therapy process continues with a combination of joint and individual therapy sessions.

As you heal the negative imprints and emotions that used to arise with your relationship, the flow of understanding and trust between you will grow.

This may lead to a process redefining your relationship and the agreements which govern it, in a conscious way that works for you both.

Relationship is a journey and over the course of these therapy sessions, my goal is to lead you back to one another.
